Augmented

A promotional video for Brett King's book, 'AUGMENTED: Life in the Smart Lane'. The book discusses how new technology is bringing us out of the Information Age and into a new "Augmented" Age in which our lives will change drastically. This video was edited together using a 40-minute interview with Brett that we shot earlier, before taking on this project. Certain sentences and phrases were cut together in order to give viewers a sense of the book's focus. (2016)

 
 
 

A Traffic Light For Your Spending

This online ad/promo uses the metaphor of the traffic light to describe the Moven app's overall purpose and functionality. Just as a traffic light uses green, yellow, and red lights to signify when to go, slow down, and stop, the Moven app uses them to help consumers know when they are "in the green" to spend and when it's time to save (in the red). The concept, script, cinematography, and editing were all done by us. (2015)

The Man, The Cat, and the Overdraft Fee

An early experimental video done for the financial wellness app called Moven which was shared heavily on social media. This video was designed to help encourage conversations about overdraft fees and how big banks rely on them for a large portion of their revenue. Although low quality equipment was used to produce this video, the script, art direction, editing, and performances from Michael J. Labbadia and Leopold the Cat make this video stand out. Fifth Planet by David Auburn

A promotional video for the theatrical production of Fifth Planet by David Auburn at Lincoln Center. The producer, actors, and director of the production were all interviewed. Music created specifically for the theatrical production was also incorporated into the video during transitions between interview segments. (2014)

A spur-of-the-moment artistic project done to showcase Flatt House Media's creativity and technical expertise in cinematography, lighting, sound, and editing. Gus Halper also gives an outstanding performance as a man who simply wishes to become a monkey. Enjoy! (2015)
